In a society whereby the internet penetration is high, the Citizen Journalists are already making an impact in terms of influencing policy outcomes or merely inspiring other to take action.  Realizing the tremendous potential of Citizen Journalists, we are working closely with a host organization to organize training sessions, especially to build and develop new CJs.

This usually will be in the form of a small group of around 15 people who will be trained in basic skills such as Twitter to other advanced skills such as Video Editing. There is currently lack of independent Citizen Journalists in Asia who specializes in the use of video cameras, although this media is deemed to be the most impactful.  The CJ.My program is an example of how videos has been used successfully for citizen journalism.
